My new book "Die Wiese" just came out at Beltz & Gelberg. This picture book explores nature. Large illustrations zoom into the meadow from a look over a buzzards wing to a close view of a wasps nest. Die Wiese
I am continuously working on "Die Wiese" (The Meadow). It will be a "rich picture book" (yes, it deserves the name) on natures life in grasslands, I really learned a lot while working on it! And never before I drew so many animals. The book will be published this summer by Beltz & Gelberg.

"Der König von Berlin", the "King of Berlin" is the new Crime Novel by writer and comedian Horst Evers that has just been released. I´ve drawn a spooky Subway-Scene for the cover.
StrichStärke
In der Ausstellungsreihe "StrichStärke" stellt der Verein Literarisches Dresden e.V. und die Botschaft für gute Literatur und schöne Bücher im Kulturhaus Loschwitz zeitgenössische Illustratoren vor. Am 2. Juni eröffne ich meine erste Ausstellung in diesem schönen Rahmen.

The Last Great American Whale
Mare is one of the most appreciated magazines in Germany. For their latest issue I’ve been asked to illustrate one of my favorite songs „The Last Great American Whale“ by Lou Reed tells the story of a mythical whale that helps a tribe of native americans to get rid of their white racist oppressors by creating a huge tidal wave. But in the end things turn out to be even worse....
Falada
I´ve drawn two illustrations for the first Issue of "Falada" Magazine featuring the well known Fairy Tale "Die Gänsemagd" inspired by the Brothers Grimm.
Die Stadt
The local Newspaper "Berliner Kurier" has just published a double page spread in its Sunday Issue on my Leporello "Die Stadt". The book came out recently and features a 150 cm Giant Poster showing a fictional cityscape. More about the book:

Mit Pinsel & Palette
Finaly out! "Mit Pinsel und Palette" is in stores now. The book tells a history of painting featuring 20 famous painters in 20 episodes about there lifes. I´ve drawn over 70 illustrations for the book and did the typography and design. More information here:

Five Boroughs / Staten Island
As a tribute to New York City and its five boroughs Tommy Hilfiger has launched a t-shirt edition for the upcoming season fall/winter 2010. Five artists from all over the world have been asked to participate in this project. I´m proud to be one of them:) Available in selected stores from now on.

WorldShaker
I´ve done the Cover Artwork for "WorldShaker", the adventourous nouvel by Richard Harland. The book will be published fall 2010 at Jacoby & Stuart, Berlin. Steampunk at its best!
